like sabi sabi said parvo vaccine (vaccines in general) do not protect puppies and dogs from the virus. What it does is when the live virus is injected into the dog/puppy, two types of white blood cells come out to the "invader" B lymphocytes fight the invader while T lymphocytes create a sort of copy for the virus code (like a dna code) so when it comes into contact with the virus it will have a stronger chance to fight off the virus (also more of a chance to fight it off) Don't always think that vaccines are going to protect your dog/puppy. I'm happy that miranda is doing well though

Things are still going great here! She has moved off of the chicken broth and rice mixture and is on to canned dog food. She goes after her food with gusto! She has also gotten very playful. It is a shame this had to happen but I think it has helped us to bond. Before now she was not very affectionate but she has started becoming more so. Thanks for all your well wishes!
