	Siri is fine. I see her pop up on FB now & then> Most of us are too busy keeping our face in front of the nearest fan! Breaking news of an Olympic upset: Colin screws up...... Rusty is trying to eat the hallway towel & gets told NO. He then tries to wipe his eye booger on my shirt. Next a shoe appears in the living room. The heat must be getting to his little brain........

	Evening all! Whew did we have the crazy storms tonight. One of the guys said we had "Tempest Winds" then he looked at me big eyed and said they never had winds like this until I moved there! I think they're understanding the connection of me and crazy weather! Hubby is back on Midnights and said that Darcy jumped on his bed and then down to her pillow for comfort! Then when the storms were done he asked if anyone was hungry and heard the thump, thump, thump from Darcy's tail along the bed as she rubbed the sides! That was a first! Hubby gave her extra treats tonight! Got another 1/2" of rain (sorry Flicka). I was wondering about Siri because I ordered a collar and haven't heard from her. Oh well, guess I'll just order another one somewhere and hope it gets here by Saturday. Grunt is going with us and I want him to look awesome! Hope everyone's fosters are well, Jewel congrats on the placement! When one goes another in need will come along. Keep up the great work! Nice and cool tonight - going to sleep with the crickets and frogs tonight! Nite all!

	All! Jewel do you have your new foster yet? Took mom and the pups in for vaccines. I made mom wear a cinching harness (generic Sporn) and a martingale collar with two leashes. I did NOT want to lose her. She was very scared but did pretty good. The boy pup, Sheldon, popped with some sort of infection on his foot so he couldn't get his shot. I have to soak it in Epsom salts and use a topical antibiotic. Wish me luck with that. Two days ago I wouldn't have had a problem, but now they are very active! Mom & the girl pup got shots, just waiting to hear back now on mom's heartworm test. Watching the Olympics- Very proud of the gymnasts and swimmers!

Sarah ........ would have been nice if they had shown at lest a tiny bit of the UK win the Silver at the Equestrian Team Event. Rest was great though. Glad Mum and Girl are ok.... you dont have to soak the paw long.... it should be ok... tickle his tum !

	On the local news they showed the Queen's granddaughter getting her medal. What is her name? Is is Sarah or Zara? Phillips... I would have liked to see some of the equestrian events- USA or whoever. I love the jumps, although I suppose at this level a lot of them look very similar as they are just THAT good! Watching that Myckayla Moroney (probably butchered her name) vault was unbelievable! I think she should have had a perfect score! She's incredible. They all are, but I was blown away by her vaulting...

	...jealous at the folks who can watch the Olympics...grumble... Ah, well. Have fun watching them! Took this video this morning around 7ish. The sun woke me up, I opened the window, and whaddya know, I could see the waves and surf on the ocean! I've never been able to see that from my window before! It's funny, it was very bright and sunshiny when I took the video, and at the end the sun got in my eyes and made me blink so the camera moved up a bit and when I looked through the camera again it was focused on the clouds, but I thought it was still on the ocean! turbulent ocean So, I wanted to go down to the beach to get some super cool awesome photos and video of the giant waves and turbulent ocean, so I get my bicycle and Tasha and head on down. Unfortunately, when we got there, we came across this: no entry Aaargh, those over-protective Coast Guards!! I decided not to be one of those idiots who crosses barriers because "nothing will happen to me" and I went home. Weather here so far isn't bad at all considering there's a typhoon on our doorstep. I wish I could send some of this rain to those having drought right now.

	Sarah its ZARA. Her mother the Princess Royal (Princess Anne) was also a Europran 3 Day Event Champion and Olympic medalist. Zara is very much her mothers daughter!! Natasha....sensible coast guards and sensible YOU!! Beautiful surf pics!! Trust me.....I would like to see something other than the American teams as well.NBC are showing a very unbalanced Olymics coverage. They are great but not the only country in the Olympics!!!
