|Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right forum!
A few months ago I wrote about another dog owner I used to be friendly with who threatened to get a restraining order on my dogs.
backstory: Adam had mites in Oct, then was cured. I met this owner in Dec and told her about it, Adam still had hair loss (it takes a while to grow back on the ears) but he was mite-free and no itching. The other owner told me to stay away and walked ahead. I had to follow her (at the length of a couple football fields behind first) but I had to follow that path because I was knee deep in snow and that was the only path there on the trail and it was getting dark. I walked slow but caught up to her and she cursed me out saying I was up her ***.
Ok fast forward, we ran into each other maybe 5 times since, I avoided, nothing more said.
Then today I saw her and I waited for her to go on ahead. Another dog owner came and I talked to him for a bit, then we went on our way, all of a sudden this woman and her dogs appeared. (they had been down the hill in the water)
As I walked past, my dogs just following me and ignoring her and her dog, she started cursing again about how we had an agreement that I wouldn't follow her and I'm up her *** again, that I could have walked somewhere else.
I said I'm just leaving and that was all.
So brings me to the question! How should I handle this, should I email her trying to make up (I tried back at the first time but she went off and we did agree to just ignore each other)
The woman is about 30 years older than me. I don't want to piss her off but I also don't want to make a huge circle around her whenever I see her. Our dogs get along, so that's not the problem.
I mean..I don't like ppl mad at me. I have no problem ignoring her though. I just thought maybe I could smooth this out. ANy ideas please? Emailing her a bad idea or if it's good any ideas what to say? Thanks.
