	I absolutely love the Schnauzer's natural ears, but even if I didn't, I would never crop a dog's ears. Holly Belle had her tail docked already before I found her at the pound, and I thank GOD they didn't do her ears. Every time I look at a dog with cropped ears, it makes me cringe. I just can't imagine cutting someone's or something's ears off. Hope you decide against it, but that's just MHO. BTW I believe that cropping/docking is now against the rules of the Kennel Club in the UK, and I sure hope that other kennel clubs follow suit.

	My vet who is a specialist in ear problems says that cropped ears do tend to prevent ear problems due to moisture. Having said that, I'm natural and he encourages his other clients to stay natural and use cotton balls during bath time to keep my ears dry.

It's a Schnauzer- thing....

	Hello there, if it would be for me I would leaf the Schnauzers just as they are. Why cut a tail or some ears of they are just as nice dogs with everything on them. I do not want to know how much nervepain a dog has if you cut his ears or his tail of. People that lost a bodypart often have Nerveproblems so I can not see that it is diffrent for a dog. In Europ they don't do any ears or Tails at all I hope we getting there too.
