	I just adopted my 1 yr old maltese from a rescue group. She was spayed last Thursday and was sick after that with coughing. The vet put her on an antibiotic and antinflamatory today. I can't get her to open her mouth to get in pedielectroylete fluids but she was given an iv this morning. I am so scared for her. She will eat wet dog food but not dry. I hope this does not get worse. i love her so much. She dropped from 7lbs to 5lbs. What is a good kind of dog food for her? I hope she recovers or I will be so sad. It is the first time I have had a dog. I am old 65.
