	My hair curls up too after taking a bath. Been doing that for 12 years now. My mommy thinks I'm not a maltese too. Glad to meet a pal who has the same problem!

	Nope, I am pretty sure you are just Maltese. I have a friend who is a malti-poo and one that is a malti-tzuh. You just look like a Maltese to me, lots of us have a curlier tendency to our hair unless you blow dry it. That's what I was told by a groomer. She said she always hand blow-dries Maltese cause they tend to curl if you just leave them in the dryer. You should know if you are a Maltese, we are WAY smarter than poodles! LOL

	I think you are a maltese. Before my mom got me she had another maltese....but he was very big ..17#...and she really thought he was a maltese...had all the markings, asyou do....but sometimes she joked that he was a "mutant maltese!", and she would laugh. Didn't matter...he was her heart and soul. And now I am trying to be her heart and soul. I came from a breeder, and we know I am a maltese...but I am 10 #. Doesn't matter..she love me like crazy!

	Polo is just adorable!! I'd be willing to bet almost anything that Polo is a Maltipoo. The reason we got Benny was because our friends have a great little dog named Jasmine, an 18 lb. Maltipoo. POLO LOOKS LIKE HE COULD BE JASMINE'S TWIN! Jasmine is curly and all white, but our Benny has the same subtle beige color on his ears and in a stripe across his back like Polo does. It is fading as he gets older, too. Benny's undercoat is curly, but his coat is very straight and silky. It's funny how the Maltipoos all look the same but different. Benny will never be that big. The vet says that he's "petite" and will probably top out at only about 7 lbs. Benny's snout is not as short as theirs , he has more of a Poodle face than Polo & Jasmine; he has Poodle ears ,theirs look more Maltese; he has straighter Maltese hair, theirs looks more like curly Poodle hair; and all three have a Maltese tail. Funny how it all is random in mixes. But, no matter what, ... mixing Malteses and Poodles makes for really really cute puppies!!! Maltipoos Rock! Edited by author Sat Dec 13, '08 7:07pm PST

	Hello! I'm not sure whether I'm a Maltese either. Daddy got me as gift for mummy and was told I was a Maltese when he chose me. But a friend of mommy said I was too big in size for a Maltese puppy. The vet won't say anything! Any feedback?
