Hi there,
We have a female long haired jack russell, she is 18 months old. At about 6 months old she started chasing her tail constantly and with this also started biting her tail, hind legs and hips. We took her to the vets not long after she started and they said it was probably a reaction to something so we gave her anti histamines but nothing helped and she still does it now. We have also noticed as well that she walks sort of like she is on tip toes on her back legs, and kind of hops (lifts her left hind leg up) does anyone have any ideas to what it could be?
