	We rescued Max last Sept at 7 wks. He was 4.5 lbs. The web page said he was a German Shepherd mix! Probably bcz of the colors. He has a JRT face for sure and the personality. I read that pure JRT's have to be 51% white, which he obviously is not. He is very active, smart, sometimes "nuts"!, streaks like lightning after anything moving, terrorizes our cats (but doesn't hurt them - yet). We didn't know what we were getting into when we brought home out "German Shepherd" puppy! He has a wire-haired or rough coat, and the color looks similar to a Wire-Haired Dachshund. He's not as short as the pictures I've seen of JRT's. But I've talked to other JRT owners and it sounds like he definitely has the traits.
