If you plan to cook them, completely worthless as they are mostly bone. If you want to give them as a chew they might be okay. The ones I see around here are about the right size for Max at the size of my fist but far too small for any dog over 50 pounds. Around here pork picnic roasts are good chews. The bottom cut is just above the shank and fairly lean with that great chewy skin. You could cut a lot of meat, fat and skin from the main section for cooking and give the big bones well covered in meat as a meal.

I give it to them as a treat, not a dinner, twice a week. Only 4 come in a package. Yes, about the size of a fist. They eat the entire thing.

Make sure they are not cured. Around here the only ones you find are cured with salt brine.

Crash gets one meal of Pork Hocks once a week. I usually can find very big ones here, about 1+ pound each. But they are fed raw
