	Meeko. We read that one of the oldest dog in the world is a vegan that eats rice, lentils and vegetable every day of his life because his owner is a vegan. Must be OK. p.s. I still like chicken.

	we eat chicken too however, mommy is looking to boost our protein intake. mommy read about the vegetarian dog too & would love to do the same (both our parents are vegeatrian). however, mommy has read conflicting info re: vegetarian dogs so she would rather be safe then sorry.

	wow, i sure am surprised to hear that beans are good for us dogs. i would have thought the 'swell' factor would be inappropriate for our digestive systems. thanks for the heads up and i will be interested to hear how you do longterm.
