|De-shedding is a part of our normal grooming price, although I do add $5-15 extra for MASSIVELY excessive shedding, and I tell the people upfront about it.
My shop does advertise the Furminator brand shampoo/creme rinse de-shedding service, and we are listed as one of their service providers or whatever, and we DO charge extra for that particular service, mostly because the dog spends so long soaking in the products during their bath, and then there's extra table time to get the guaranteed 60-80% reduction in shedding. The charges for the Furminate grooming are usualy $15-50 more than a 'regular' bath depending on the size of the dog and the amount of coat I have to remove to get to that 'low to no shedding' stage. We also include a 'free' brushout 7-10 days after their Furminate bath, which is a big selling point for a lot of our clientele.
