I have a new Mommy as of yesterday and she is trying to learn all about me too. She says the biggest challenge at this moment is to remember I am big but I am still a baby. She has never had a baby as large as I am and will be.

we got our great pyrenees joy in july, at 7 1/2 weeks and 12 pounds. she grew about five pounds a week for awhile; she's now 8 months old and about 87 pounds. she is an interesting combination of gentle but strong, is great with other small animals, needs lots of walks and positive reinforcement.she is our first dog; very intelligent and we are madly in love with her. i could talk about her all day. i also would suggest crate-training right from the start and a good-quality dog food. do your homework.
