GO!

Darn Darn Darn Darn Darn

This is a special place for pups to share their love and support for each other during difficult times; it's a place to light candles, give the "Power of the Paw," and let everyfur know they are never ever alone.

Took Autumn for 3rd chemo today.
Can't do it cause white count is too low.
Will try again Thursday.
Paws crossed please that it somehow magically comes up in 2 days!

And even though she's eating like a pig she's down from 86lbs to 72 cry

Dr said something about Prednisone and muscle mass.
Nothing we can do except hope she gains it back when chemo's done.

Chemo with our babies is very hard work. Rowdy was 4 when he was diagnosed with lymphosarcoma and we did 25 weeks of chemo. He had some great days where everything was perfect, but then he had some awful days where i thought we wouldn't make it through. He lost about 8-10 pounds during chemo and actually had to be hospitalized because he did not eat for about 3 days. The good news is that we stuck with it and we were put in remmission in January. We did start prednisone for any pain and swelling of the lymphnodes. Heads up, it makes them EAT and DRINK like they have been in a desert for months and in turn they pee like crazy!!!

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I was so scared with Rowdy was diagnosed and did not have anyone to talk to that knew about this stuff. We have been battling this cancer for a year and now it is back, we refused chemo this time and have him on Pred until the time comes. Again, don't hesitate to ask if you need anything.
