I agree, no need to worry at all.
Chiba used to eat grass all the time and then vomit it all back up shortly after.
Max (who really is a senior citizen) does it too, maybe a bit less than Chiba did, but he never vomits from it. And I have never seen signs of pain or discomfort in any of my dogs before or after eating grass.

To me it's just one of the many things they do, no explanation needed.
I'm sure Max thinks the same when he sees me reading a book laugh out loud
