Mom found out that it was the chemicals/preservatives that were bothering me. Now I eat C&P Organix Chicken and Rice and do really well. It also has Gluocosamine and Chondrotin in it for my aches and pains...

Taz, I don't know if you care or not, but that food isn't really organic. Evo (which I feed) isn't organic, eitehr, so I'm not saying it's a bad thing... I just was surprised to find it out. Apparently if it's organic it will say "Organic" not "Organix" or "Organics". I had no idea about that until recently! But I'm glad you've found a food that works!

Hey Ginger,

I found the info at the dog food project website.

It actually is partly organic (my bad-- I got it slightly confused) but the name and packaging info is still misleading as it doesn't meet the requirements for actually calling a dog food "organic" in the name of the food. Here is what Mordanna has to say about it:

"Food made with (according to manufacturer) "just over" 70% organic ingredients. In a prominent spot on the website the manufacturer claims that the product is a "certified organic pet food", which wrongly suggests the product falls into the category of 95% ingredients and higher. Under closer examination on the product page it is labeled as "C&P's ORGANIX Canine Formula With Organic Ingredients". Minus points for misleading information. Minus points for using menadione, a synthetic version of vitamin K."

I just get annoyed at misleading names of foods-- both dog and human!

Nope. Doesn't matter to me whether it's organic or not...just so I can eat it. I'll eat whatever works.

Hi I have alot of problems. I was on Prescription U/D for around 3 years now and since my stones came back and I had crystals in my urine again after I had surgery. My mommy took me off of it.I scratched all the time and chewed on my feet, now I just sit there not knowing what to do with myself since she changed me to BARF patties and I get Natural Balance Can food and some Dry Natural Balance Reduced Calories dog food. We try the Wellness Simple Food But it's too high in protein for me.
