Wellness' Large Breed Puppy formula was part of the recall. I believe it has something to do with it being made in the same facility as the other foods that have been recalled. The rest of the Wellness line, however, is supposedly made in another facility so is not part of the recall. Wellness Core should be safe. I would still err on the side of caution with it, though, as a lot of the lines affected were supposed to be "safe".

BB is safe right now.

I switched from Natural Balance to Fromm. I am so sick of the recalls that I have decided no more foods from companies who have food made at Diamond, they just have to many quality control issues. I found a store close to the agility training field but you can get it at Amazon.com as well as at Petflow.com, the nice thing about Pet Flow is you can get it on scheduled deliveries. So far my dogs are doing well. They have been on it without mixing it with Natural Balance since Saturday, they all seem to really like it. I have Callie on the Whitefish and Potato and Huck and Wyatt on the Pork and Applesauce.

The latest Diamond recall is for food from the Missouri plant, not the South Carolina plant. If they can't maintain sanitary production and safe storage at the South Carolina and Missouri plants, there's no reason to think the California plant is run any differently.

Assume nothing from Diamond is safe.

Addy exactly how I feel and why I switched. My dogs did great on Natural Balance and it was a big decision to change but its working out well. The only thing is because the Fromm is not as easy to get and just any pet food store, I need to order it before I am close to being out of food. I did put both foods on a scheduled delivery so hopefully that will help my normally wait to last minute mentality.

Georgia had been on Solid Gold since we brought her home, she never seemed crazy about it. Since the recalls I now know Diamond makes Solid Gold so I did my research trying to stay away from Diamond made products and stay in a resonable budget I chose Earthborn Great Plains this bison formula she is loving and her stools are much better!snoopy
