BHA is a known carcinogen and has been banned for use in human foods.

If it's detrimental to my health, I know it is for my dogs'.

Besides, no dog will thrive on a diet of corn, the #1 ingredient in this food.

ETA: We are omnivores, our teeth, jaws and digestive systems are designed to eat vegitation. Dogs are carnivores, they cannot grind cellulose or digest it, their systems are too short.

Well, you can extract some nutrition from the kernals that you actually stop and chew. It's the ones that go down whole that you see come out the other end. laugh out loud I love this subject! big grin

There is a really good website that teaches you how to read a dog food label to determine if it is a good food or not. It is at www.dogaware.com. The person who made this web site writes for "The Whole Dog Journal" about nutrition. She is an excellent resource.
There are LOTS of good foods out there. I was allergic Solid Gold, it made my hair fall out! But every dog is different. I now eat home cooked, but my big sister, Treasure, eats California Natural which is a really good food.

Have you tried any of the TWO stuff?

My dog had irritable stools until she started using a rotation of Ocean Blue and Wild & Natural
