I am planning to take Bob with me when I travel to Scotland and am looking for advice. Any first hand experiance would be great.

The main thing is following the specific timeline needed to avoid a stay in quarantine. That means having your ISO standard chip implanted, getting your rabies shot, having the FAVN blood draw at the appropriate time, and the wait. If I'm not mistaken Scotland has similar requirements as the UK which means flea & tick treatments as well as a worming treatment must be given something like 24-48 hours prior to arrival.
