You know the booster seats for smaller (don't say small dog around Torie) dogs (under about 25 lbs.). Anyone have these. She is very good in the car, just concerned about safety.

I have the Lookout I seat by Snoozer. It's one of the few crash tested seats that utilizes the car's seatbelt system for safety instead of its own straps. The other seat that I considered was the Fido Rido. Ultimately, the higher seat height of the Lookout pushed me over the edge in my decision for Bailey since he's so tiny and he loves to look out the window. Make sure that whatever harness you choose to go along with your car seat is also crash tested.

I had one for Pooch who was about 25 pounds, it was called "Global Pet Pet Stow-Away 3-in-1 Travel Seat". I mostly chose it because it was not expensive and it was one of the few car seats for dogs that was big enough for Pooch's size... I used it without the suitcase underneath because it was enough of a 'booster' without it. Also I used a strength-rated dog seatbelt attached to the car's seat belt along with the dog seat, in addition for safety.

Another good brand is Snoozer: http://www.snoozerpetproducts.com/
