 | | | | So I've been doing a lot of reading on flying dogs as checked baggage, as Lilith will be flying checked this year. We have only had dogs flown in-cabin and once Luna flew as cargo, which I imagine is almost exactly the same as flying checked (ANA doesn't allow dogs in cabin so that's why Lilith is going as checked)
Anyway, on another blog, someone wrote that persons working on the tarmac and the runways are required to wear ear protection to protect their hearing, and that dogs will be exposed to this noise without any protection.
I suppose I'm just getting pre-flight jitters, but honestly that sounds horrible.
Any truth to this? Anyone else fly as checked before? | | | | |
