	I have always felt that pointers are the most under-rated dog breed out there! Pointers are intelligent, playful, loyal and we are SO CUTE and make such good cuddlers....What more could you ask for in a dog?? BUT, there is definitely an up-side to not being the "most popular" breed in that there will be less incidence of and less incentive for breeders to line-breed pointers (mating dogs who fall in the same family lineage). This means pointers will have a much much much lower incidence of genetic problems that result from line-breeding compared to the more popular breeds. So, even if we are not the most popular dog or the breed of the week.... we are still one of the BEST breeds out there Edited by author Thu Mar 9, '06 2:27pm PST
