I was looking for a companion to hike and collect with, and that's what led me to get her and train her. Best decision I ever made, it's not only fun but it really helps organizations monitor wildlife populations that are always underfunded so staffing is kept very low. Volunteers fill the gaps. Most of our data has gone towards studying the changes in local coyote populations, leading up to a major study recently published on NE populations.
I think it's great that some areas are paying for the service. Thanks for posting the info! | | | | |
