	Pit bulls can legally put their paws on Cincinnati ground today for the first time in nine years. After a long, arduous battle for dog lovers and Cincinnati animal welfare advocates, success has arrived. Today, Cincinnati City Council voted 8-1 to officially repeal the breed-specific language in Cincinnati's vicious dog ordinance, which previously made ownership of pit bulls within city limits illegal

	This is awesome news!! Hopefully other places will follow also. I think people are learning that its not the dog, its the owner.

	That is great news! Congrats to Cincinnati and the council for repealing the law. With an 8-1 vote, it is obvious BSL isn't working there. Many cities have gone as far as to have an anti-BSL law. Many cities spend enormous amounts of money trying to control dogs in city limits, often to no avail. Hopefully the money they save will be used in good form.
