I really like the distinction between family dog and resident dog. I also like how they make a point to state how breeds were more often than not nearly impossible to document.

It's a shame the media makes what they want of it. Although, this is about actual fatalities, not just bites.

Interesting reading. Thanks. I too,like the distinction they made between family pets and those poor pups who just exist on the "owners" property without the exercise,interaction and care they need. Wouldn't it be nice if the media cared to be more accurate in it's reporting of bites in general instead of just worring about having the best headline?
