Know-it-all legislaters are the responsible parties. How do they justify it? REALLY GOOD QUESTION - I wish I had the answer.

I am changing my breed thanks to BSL. I am now a Leonberger. When I went to school Thursday night, the teacher had a hard time believing Im a Rottie mix (Mommy saw me being born and my doggy mom is a pure Rottie) and she said I look like a Leonberger. So, that's it. If a trainer thinks thats what I am, that's what I am!

I'm a proud owner of a pittie mix, but I would not ever suggest registering a dog as a pit. Unfortunately most of the laws say that a dog only has to LOOK like a pit?shrug

man.....they just seem to be targeting random breeds to me.....I can see some of those, obviously, are from people's ridiculous fears fed by the media. And some simply based on image(I personally think 'tough' breeds, as people like to call them, look incredibly sweet and adorable, but thats just me alot I guess......).....other breeds though.....what the heck? lets ban rabbits too, there starting to look a little evil!

Amos "I think you need to calm down instead of trying to pick fights with people who are on your side. You don't know me and you have no idea what I do to fight BSL, nor do you know what kind of dogs I have had in the past. Don't come at me because you have a chip on your shoulder. Attacking people who fight BSL isn't the best way to endear folks to you or your cause. I've read through these replies and you seem to want to start things with a lot of people who disagree with BSL. Lighten up and stop assuming that how you take things is absolutely what someone meant. It is possible that you take things the wrong way sometimes. Being this quick to jump on someone who is actually on the same side you are isn't going to help anything."

Never once did I ask you to clarify anything about what you have or not have, I am not attacking anyone nor am I trying to start a fight with anyone. There is no chip on my shoulders as there is to many other things there and I have no room for more. I haven't jumped on anyone wether they agree or disagree with me. You seem to be doing what you are blaming me for.I have never said or implied they you don't fight BSL. So where you get any of this is beyond me. For the record... I am not DUDE.

I just stated that long before BSL was known as it is now, I have been fighting it. That ANY form of BSL is wrong. That any dog for the right ( or wrong) reasons can and will bite. It don't matter on breed or size. How that is miscontrude as starting a fight / argueing or whatever is also beyond me. Anyone fighting BSL will never agree that any form of it is right. Proper ownership laws yes but nothing against any dog or breed. So you keep up the work you do as I will keep up what I do. Hopefully one day soon we will win for the dogs and not for ego.

I'm curious to know where they are banning Australian Cattle Dogs..... their crime? Being smarter than half the humans in town I bet! laugh out loud

BUT my sister is safe all around, those Corgis ARE vicious though.. wonder why they dont make the list haha
