See your pet's breed in there?? After Pit Bulls, who's next?

I've never been attacked or afraid of a pit bull in my life BUT I WAS attacked by not one...but TWO golden retrievers as a kid (while I was minding my own business). Does this mean I think Goldens should be banned and that the one that lives nextdoor to my parents is "evil" and will "turn"?? Heck no!!

PS...all dog teeth are the same (just different sizes...the pit "jaw locking" is a myth)...a mauling from a lab and a mauling from a pit would be exceedingly different? Don't think so. Even if it WAS, that makes the mauling by the lab more acceptable? Don't understand any BSL "logic", sorry...I try to get it but just can't! It all just seems to fall back on "I hear scary stories about them and am scared of them, therefore want everything I am afraid of killed."

MacGregor, as far as I understand these dogs are listed as "dangerous breeds" but not banned completely. I got the list from understandabull.com, and mostly made it part of my post to prove a point that any dog can be targeted for this kind of stuff for really dumb reasons...and also just to try and hit a nerve incase a pro-BSLer has one of those breeds, maybe they'll do a double-take, ya know? I'm sure you can get more info about it if you do a google for "Italy dangerous breeds" or something like that.

Maybe she is just a cat person. My She on the other hand is an animal person. Did love some of the comments though. We like the pittie up near the park, I wag my tail, he slobbers all over me. My She has been bit four times (and counting) a little tiny dog, a cockapoo and two shepards attacked her at the same time. How about just banning less than terrific owners?

Ooooo I could not even look at that stupid lady's FACE -- it should be banned and be illegal!

Is she someone important?? I hope she knows nobody knows who the heck she is or cares what she has to say -- it's all ignorance! IGNORANCE! Grrr....

P.S: WOW, Kolbe! That list is CRAZY.. I'm a DANGEROUS Australian Cattle Dog who prefers people to dogs and only cares about frisbee... and my 4 month old Pembroke Welsh Corgi sister could SOOO maul a small child.. when she's not too busy chasing leaves blowing in the wind or watching birds in the sky! Lists like that are pathetic! BOL!
