The Incontinence Sage Continues

This forum is for dog lovers seeking everyday advice and suggestions on health-related issues. Remember, however, that advice on a public forum simply can't be a substitute for proper medical attention. Only your vet can say assuredly what is best for your dog.

I have used diapers and have a regimen in place to avoid urine scalding. I do live close to work, so can go hometo let her out, but she leaks urine even if she's just urinated outside. We've increased her DES to about every three days and changed her diet to a low-protein prescription one in order to resolve struvite crystals in her urine, which she has had for a few months. Vitamin C has not resolved the issue and she recently had a concurrent bladder infection, which can cause bladder stones. The increased DES has resolved most of the incontinence, but today I think I found a puddle even though she had a dose yesterday morning, and I'm starting to think this is a symptom of a larger problem.
