This forum is for dog lovers seeking everyday advice and suggestions on health-related issues. Remember, however, that advice on a public forum simply can't be a substitute for proper medical attention. Only your vet can say assuredly what is best for your dog.

Didn't want to post anything morbid until everything was okay, but cousins dog and a friends dog both died eating from Easter baskets some years ago. The plastic grass, the foil, then the chocolate itself, all dangerous stuff there...you can't be too careful, keep out of reach-out of sight

I just hope he gets well soon. I'm never going to give my dogs any pieces of chocolate. When I found out that these things were of no good to dogs, I immediately felt sorry for feeding my dogs with chocolates back when I was a kid. That was years ago, so, sorry dogs.
