I almost lost my Bam Bam

This forum is for dog lovers seeking everyday advice and suggestions on health-related issues. Remember, however, that advice on a public forum simply can't be a substitute for proper medical attention. Only your vet can say assuredly what is best for your dog.

So glad he's didn't twist and you got him to the vet to save him. Bloat can happen fast and for no apparent reason altho the most common is playing/jumping after eating or drinking. At least now they know when sugery is done they tack the stomach to prevent it happening again which yrs ago they didn't do. We'll keep him in ours prayershughug

I want to play!

Wow... The very same week that this happened to Bam-Bam, his littermate sister died from an obstruction that wasn't caught in time frown His thing happened on Tuesday, hers happened on Thursday. I feel so lucky that he is still with me.
