Experience with allergy tests?

This forum is for dog lovers seeking everyday advice and suggestions on health-related issues. Remember, however, that advice on a public forum simply can't be a substitute for proper medical attention. Only your vet can say assuredly what is best for your dog.

YES! I used the Nutriscan for a dog of mine who was having a pretty serious diarrhea situation that became chronic and difficult to eliminate. Think sudden, severe diarrhea that lasted for 3 months. Multiple fecals negative, negative PCR test, no effect from flagyl, etc. Did the NutriScan test and found that my dog has multiple food sensitivities. Switched to feeding only the proteins that had no reaction on the test, and my dog hasn't had diarrhea since then.
