Stuffy nose?

This forum is for dog lovers seeking everyday advice and suggestions on health-related issues. Remember, however, that advice on a public forum simply can't be a substitute for proper medical attention. Only your vet can say assuredly what is best for your dog.

For the past week or so, Rocky has had a rather chapped, dry nose. I've been putting Vaseline on it to help. This morning, he woke up and he's sniffling a lot, sneezing, and seems to have dried boogers. He's almost 9 and has never had anything like this. Anyone have experience? Is this just a cold he needs to get over?

Could be allergies, dogs can get them too. I would check with your vet.

I could be allergies, but if it's a cold, he needs to see a vet. Colds in dogs are not the same as in humans. They can get very sick from them. Good Luck!
