Grey/Green Teeth

This forum is for dog lovers seeking everyday advice and suggestions on health-related issues. Remember, however, that advice on a public forum simply can't be a substitute for proper medical attention. Only your vet can say assuredly what is best for your dog.

I was inspecting all the doggies teeth and I noticed that Jagger has three teeth all the way in the back that are a grey/green color. There are 2 on the bottom and 1 on the top. The ones on the bottom are loose. This is the first time I've noticed it but they are very hard to see (I have to move his tongue), so it could have been like that for awhile. He used to have bad plaque or tartar, but since he's been on a raw diet, that has all cleared up. We are seeing the vet on Thursday, but I'd like to know what you guys think.

Weel the vet appointment went ok this morning. Our vet, whom we love dearly, recommended dental surgery to remove the loose rotting teeth because the risk of infection is high. I left the office without my little guy and am going back in an hour to pick him up. frown

Well the surgery went fine and Jagger is feeling back to normal! He's still eating mushy food and will be on antibiotics for another week. He had a total of 7 teeth pulled. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this will cure his bad breath! smile
