I have been using it for months and it works great! I used Frontline Plus too in combination with it.

I've also never heard of Acu Guard. I used Capstar daily tablets, Advantage, and now use Frontline Plus. I had good luck with all of these but have stuck with the Frontline Plus because it gets rid of the flea eggs as well.

I've never heard of it. We use the Only Natural Pet EasyDefense Flea & Tick Tag along with a daily dose of raw garlic. Sorry I can't help more. I even tried googling! cry It is too new for there to be much information online. Sorry!

ACU Guard is sold through VCA clinics (VCAPDoctor.VCAVetSource.com). Glad to see that Conmfotis has the same active ingredient since it's less costly. Thanks for all the info from everyone!blue dog

Hi there!!

After I owned my dog for six years (we came from Germany to the US) he is now the first time infested with fleas!! Uhg!! So I went to the vet clinic and got AcuGuard (which contains the same medication than Comfortis I have been told).

I gave him the pill right now with some food. And I can report how it works on him tomorrow smile

Normally I am not so crazy about giving a flea prevention pill either. But since we have a toddler it is less dangerous on our kid.
