Nettles /nettles herb for allergies in dogs?

This forum is for dog lovers seeking everyday advice and suggestions on health-related issues. Remember, however, that advice on a public forum simply can't be a substitute for proper medical attention. Only your vet can say assuredly what is best for your dog.

Yes. The Honest Kitchen makes Sparkle which is a skin and coat supplement containing stinging nettles.

Nettles contain high amounts of vitamin a. They are used mainly as a nutritive. It is definitely a good herb to give. I've used herb tea for Geoffrey's skin before. I've also used it once for Darlene's nosebleed. I've also heard that it can be used as an antihistamine. But, wear gloves when you handle nettles. I buy nettles in bulk once a year.

I love home remedies! My favorite is arnica. Calendula is great for the skin. Coconut oil is good for yeast. Coloidal silver purifies the body (so potent it is said to purify sewage!)

True story: My grandma bought this little kit that somehow lets you change water into colloidal silver. At any given time you can walk into her house and it looks like she has a little meth lab set up! It's hilarious!

Well, Boris was also in the raw forum saying a dog won't clean their teeth unless they chew on weight bearing bones and chipped teeth weren't a big deal. So, just notify HQ. way to go
