Ok so i get home last night from work and we decide to let the dogs play with some stuffed toys. They have two Kong Zebra Braids (they have a thick braid for the body and a stuffed head and feet). Well at the moment we couldn't find them so we pulled out an old destuffed dragon they had. We throw it up and Diesel catches it so we brought out a rope and started playing tug with Rambo. After about a few min we noticed that Diesel was trying to swallow the dragon.shock Luckily my boyfriend was able to pull it out of his throat. So we went on about playing with them and then i started putting two and two together and realized that there is a very good chance he swallowed the two Zebras too. So i automatticaly call his vet (luckily they were still open) and told them what was going on and they said i could either wait it out or go to the E-vet. Well knowing what the toys look like i knew there was no way he could pass them on his own so we rushed to the e-vet. Well we get there and the vet says that most of the time stuff only stay in the stomach of a dog about 2 hours so htere is a good chance it will not be in his stomach. I told her again what the Zebras look like and that there is no way they will pass and insisted on them taking X-rays. Well once they did they saw that he did have stuff in his stomach so they induced vomiting. The end result was he did indeed eat both Zebras and was able to vomit them up. dancing The vet came in and said that we saved ourselves from either a dead puppy or $3000 vet bill.eek She said once she actually saw the toys she realized that they would have torn up his intestines. So needless to say i became over joyed and so relieved that my baby will be ok. Obviously no more stuffies anymore. blue dogsnoopy

So happy those zebras are outta there! hug

Jackson and Paisley aren't allowed "soft" toys either....I learned my lesson after I bought one of those $50 Tuffy dinosaur toys....within a day Jackson had torn an opening in it and ate a piece of the scale off of the dinosaurs back! I thought for sure that thing would last! shock
