Totos.

It does work but only Apple Cider Vinegar, and if you can find unfiltered organic it is even better. It's normally in the natural/organic section in the store.

I have a 6 cup water bowl and use 1 to 1.5 tablespoons of the apple cider vinegar. You may have to start out using a little bit and slowly increase the ammount. You can also spray a little on your dog each day for even more protection.

Thank you . I have fowarded all your messages to Chato's Dad. I am going to try the Vinegar. I always do a nightly search for fleas too. I just foster now. Ruby passed in November, so I have been fostering 2 at a time. I think doing the daily flea search is a good way to get the dogs use to being handled and helps to bond. So it serves more than 1 purpose. So i'm thinking with the vinegar and a daily search we could do away with the chemicals. What do you guys think ?blue dog

Flea/tick killer is basically just poison.
When we first got Willy we put Advantix on him becuase it was slightly cheaper than Frontline. it made Willy absolutely nuts, he puked a couple times and would go mad trying to itch himself, even shaking our bed as he tried to rub up against it to scratch himself. since we have switched to Frontline Plus we have had no issues. i think it made him a tiny bit itchy the day of application for the past two months but no puking and no crazies.
i think for different dogs they have different reactions with different prodcuts. my uncle uses advantix on his Westie and has never had an issue.

it sounds like this vet just heard the part about the dog attacking someone and didnt stop to think WHY and just put the dog to sleep which is very unfortunate. my heart goes out to the dog and the owners.
that is a very sad story.
