 | |  | | i dont use anything on my dogs for fleas, instead they get monthly bath in a flea shampoo au naturale.
they are checked constantly becouse i can spot a flea instantly, and i dont like the idea of chemicals on them, we dont have carpeting in the house, wich, fleas spend 80% of their time in carpeting.
the rest of time is spent on host.
I also use ivermectin from fleet farm, only under vets care, becouse i cant afford to treat six dogs with heartgaurd.
save tonns of $ alone on that fact.
i only use it in a bad misquito season.
this year it was dry as a bone, we had drought, and it was hot, barely any misquito, so i feel we are safe, in working at the vet many years the instance of heartworm was very low, we rarely saw or treated a dog for it.
we are in the north though so we can get away with it.
seizures can be kicked off by anything, it very well could be the frontline, or the heartgaurd as stated above. |  |  | |  |
