|The Mal is currently in Tennesse/KY for a show. The timing hasn't lined up for his owner yet (Medical crisis in the family and pre-paid showing expenses) but he's still coming albeit far too slowly for my tastes. He's my "set in stone" pup. I'd just as soon fix the pool before he comes so I can throw him in and show him how to get out.
I like Pits and I imagine I'll be getting an older rescue once I'm out of the 'going where the universities are' phase of my life. My house is very Pit friendly but it's too far from the university for a daily commute, unfortunately.
Lucille, Dales are really high up on my list easily top 4 and mostly higher on other days, , and there's no real reason stopping me from having one other than dog numbers not matching the amount of time I have.
PWDs haven't been on my list before, thanks for the suggestion Missy. I only know two and both are owned by people who don't do anything with them so my view of them is in a bubble. I have a kind of interest in Barbets (Very much like PWDs) so maybe another look at PWDs would be worthwhile.
Ha, I don't like 'enjoys the sound of their own voice' yappy. Even my ex-nuisance barker terrier only barks at things, not just for their own amusement. I can manage that kind of yappy fairly well.
