Devil: Wouldnt it be nice for Princess to have a playmate her size?
Angel: You have more work to do on her barking.
Devil: But if she had pint size companion, maybe she would be too busy to bark.
Angel: You arent even ready for your SP yet and you are thinking about yet another dog?
Devil: But Chis are cheap to feed and dont need the grooming that SPs do.
Angel: You havent even started working on hubby yet for the SP!
Devil: Well, he said ok to Princess didnt he?

 | | Barked: Sat Jul 4, '09 11:35am PST | | | | | | Depends how big a deal the barking is to you. My friend had one chi, and had some barking issues (some, not so bad...). Then she got a second chi, and instead of it doubling the amount of barking, it multiplied it by at least four, as near as I can tell. Now they bark at each other, at the other dogs, and at anything that moves.
Of course, she didn't really train them, so there's always that reason. Just saying, for your shoulder angel - I doubt a second chi will improve the noise level.  | | | | |

| | Barked: Sat Jul 4, '09 1:56pm PST | | | | | | This is just my opinion but to me you shouldn't get another dog for your dog, you should get it because YOU want another dog. Riley and Raven would be totally happy as single dogs but that's too bad, I want them both.
Although chi's are pretty cheap to feed they can have some pretty expensive medical problems, so that's another thing to consider. But, I am all for a homeless pup getting a new home so sleep on it and see what you think in the morning.  | | | | |
