Choosing the Right Dog

GO!
If you are wondering what is the right dog for you, this is the place to be. In this introductory forum we talk about topics such as breed vs. mix, size, age, grooming, breeders, shelters, rescues as well as requirements for exercise, space and care. No question is too silly here. This particular forum is for getting and giving helpful, nice advice. It is definitely not a forum for criticizing someone else's opinion, knowledge or advice. This forum is all about tail wagging and learning.

Im not sure if thats true Chloe. I can tell you my five dogs are spoiled to bits and some are more lap doggie then others. They all want to be near me and my husband but some want to be on us and som ewant to be on the floor at our feet. I definitely think how much lap tim ea dog wants is an individual dog thing.

My scottish terrier is a big time lap dog. She has to be in my lap at all times if i am sitting down!

My bulldog tries to be, but i make him lay beside me bc he is heavy!

My longhaired doxie is a cuddly bug but he doesn't mine being to himself either.
