 | | | | Mine has licked her feet for years, attributed to allergies. She's been on benadryl & a few other variations of antihistamine. She's currently taking clemastine (Tavist), which seems to help a little bit. But what has really helped is giving her "toe baths" every 2 or 3 days using a special anti-bacterial shampoo (Hexadene). It was recommended by a dog dermatologist that we saw (long story....), and we've been using it ever since. If we go longer than 3 days without a bath, she starts licking again. And she will lick nonstop for hours, until her feet are puffy & bleeding. | | | | |
