I am just curious as to what the best method you have found to stop a puppy from biting and nipping when excited? Piper is a super sweet puppy but sometimes you may be holding her and she gets over excited and just starts nipping or if she is playing with my other dog and I go to pick her up she turns into an alligatorshock if I am inside with her and she starts nipping I quickly put her in her crate turn my back and ignore her for 1 minute and it seems to work well. But what am I suppose to do when outside and I pick her up I guess maybe redirect her with a toy? I am Pretty sure she was taken away from her mother too soon. If she is trying to bite when I hold her is the best thing to do is put her on the floor and ignore her?
