how to socialize with people?

This is a place to gain some understanding of dog behavior and to assist people in training their dogs and dealing with common behavior problems, regardless of the method(s) used. This can cover the spectrum from non-aversive to traditional methods of dog training. There are many ways to train a dog. Please avoid aggressive responses, and counter ideas and opinions with which you don't agree with friendly and helpful advice. Please refrain from submitting posts that promote off-topic discussions. Keep in mind that you may be receiving advice from other dog owners and lovers... not professionals. If you have a major problem, always seek the advice of a trainer or behaviorist!

Sorry guys I think I misworded things? Cause that's not what I was trying to say. No bubbles bursted! We knew about both breeds and what we were/are getting ourselves into. I know shes not going to like everyone or be a social butterfly. Like I said shes great with people that come into our house, I was just looking for tips on strangers on the street. I am aware of the training and getting on top of it now. (Just don't want ya'll to think I'm some person that doesnt know anything about the breed) But thank you everyone for tips and advice! We do love it!

There are a handful of breeds I'd venture to say need very breed specific training and socialization. That meaning that asking for online tips or going to a general training class isn't going to cut it. I really think you need specific help and insight here. How you address many issues with her will need to come from individuals who are very knowledgeable about the breed itself.

Basically, if you as a purported breed knowledgeable owner don't already know how to deal with it, most other people inexperienced with the breed directly aren't going to be of any more help than what you've already got to pull from your past extensive research.

As far as your questions about how to start working her issues with strangers that's where I'd start. A breed club would be best, or a behaviorist who has been there done that with this breed specifically. 4 months is INCREDIBLY young for ANY sort of aggressive/defensive/protective displays to be starting already, even for these breeds. Something likely isn't right there (and based on her breed mix I'd start right off the bat questioning her genetics), best you jump on getting some professional help now or you might as well expect some pretty serious occurrences to start popping up as she matures.
