"Trainer" put a shock collar on 15 week old pup - are you kidding me?

Hey gang wave Just an update. Best Friend found a great trainer, puppy has taken to agility like a pro! applauseapplause Now he's in puppy class on Mon and puppy agility on Tues! cheercheer The trainer did want to know who the person was with the e-collars. Said she had heard about them and shook her head. Anyhooo, all is well, BF and puppy are having a blast and learning loads! Thanks for letting me vent and the feedback! way to go

Glad your friend found a place they both enjoy.

With regards to e-collars: The only sane explanation of their use that I've ever heard has been on these forums, mainly from Trigger.

Unfortunately in real life, I've only ever heard them touted as quick fixes for problem dogs. Of course, I live in an urban environment, so there would really never be much call for their intended use here in the city.

Anyway, that pup sounds like a lucky one; obedience AND agility in the same week-my dog would love it!
