dogster regulars

This is a place to gain some understanding of dog behavior and to assist people in training their dogs and dealing with common behavior problems, regardless of the method(s) used. This can cover the spectrum from non-aversive to traditional methods of dog training. There are many ways to train a dog. Please avoid aggressive responses, and counter ideas and opinions with which you don't agree with friendly and helpful advice. Please refrain from submitting posts that promote off-topic discussions. Keep in mind that you may be receiving advice from other dog owners and lovers... not professionals. If you have a major problem, always seek the advice of a trainer or behaviorist!

	It's so sad to see this thread go downhill I was gone for 2 weeks on a wonderful vacation and I came back to this... Harlow its so sad to see you go but I respect your wishes. I haven't seen half the stuff that had been going on so I cant judge one way or another but I really wish this thread could go back to its fun, uplifting dogster spirit it used to have. Thor congrats on DOTW!!! You deserve it but sadly this thread has kind of stole your spotlight...

	I hope not everyone is really leaving! I think people have a case of the winter blues- not enough sunlight, too much snow/rain/clouds! I went to the rescue's board meeting tonight for the first time. It lasted 3 hours, but I only got signed up for one thing, and I got the group to agree to do some of my suggestions. Here are some new pictures of the foster dogs- We had two local photographers (one is a foster home) take pictures of the dogs. 	Congratulations dear Thor , you always make me and my family smile! I've lurked here since the beginning and I'm a long time Dogster and Rudy Patudy's "Wudy's " big brother. So sorry to see this thread go South . It was sometimes a pleasure and other times not so much. Honestly some newbies were ignored and maybe no posts prior 30,000 were bathed but some were deleted . I know Rudy was at fault and had at least one or two deleted. Some don't understand his "peach impediment or humor" . Rudy loves the pups that understand him and loves the ones that don't as well. He's special like that ! So many posting here are dear friends and we are very very sorry if some feel the need to leave. I think Dogster was very generous and lenient to let this post live on as long as they did. Dogster , Mods and Regulars

	Boy I have missed a lot. This thread has been like a second home. A place to come to and talk with friends about not only our dogs but life as well. I have always been grateful to Harlow for starting this thread and have enjoyed spending so much time here! I have been at the hospital with my Dad. He is in serious condition and is having surgery in the morning. This is the place I would come to and relax and enjoy visiting with the friends I have made here. I have gotten a lot of support from you guys last year when I had a tough year at school with my son. I will always be grateful to you for that support. Thank you so much.

	Spend the evening dealing with the outside world & our inside world implodes? Dang! This was the morning coffee greeting & check in spot. Friends have been made and now it's war after 30,000 posts? Sad that some folks won't step back. Love the true regulars that are slightly irregular and foo on those that are causing trouble. This was a good run to a FUN thread that Harlow started.
