By the way Sasha is a toy destroyer too. We have had luck with the kong toys, and tennis balls. That is about it. She wont play with most hard toys. Get him some bully sticks (though Sasha chewed right through them) or do what we do. We get the Dingos Retriever size bones they come 2 in a pack and it takes Zack and Sasha a month to 2 months to completely chew through them. It saves money on bones and it keeps them busy

You can find them at Wal-mart or even your local pet supplys shop

I really like Riley's advice.

The peeing on stuff inside while he stares you in the eye almost sounds like a dominance challenge. NILIF and training in general could help this.

How much time does the dog spend outside each day by itself? Most dogs want to be with their pack, whether it's inside or outside, most of the time. I can put my dogs out and go back in, and even if it is beautiful out they will bark at the door to be inside with me. If he is spending the majority of time outside alone, he is definitely craving more interaction.

Try a buster cube (puzzle toy). Westley is a big dog with big strong teeth and hasn't even marked the surface of his.

Check out www.rewardingbehaviors.com for some great training tips. I highly recommend clicker training. I believe the family would see a huge improvement with this dog just by doing some positive reinforcement basic obedience training in a few 5-15 minute sessions a day. Clicker training also helps a lot with house training.

Good luck, I hope they figure this out so all the members of the family can stay put!

Try giving him his food with tug-a-jug (not easy to destroy!) or frozen kongs. Seriously, I think his going potty in the house is attention seeking behavior, not dominance or spite.
