Do you sleep on the bed?

I'm the first one there! Then Joey, but he doesn't stay long. I'm there almost all night. My parents have a really comfortable mattress. Allie can't jump up there anymore. She's almost 15, but she has her beds placed all around the house. Sometimes I sleep there when she's not.

I'm not allowed on Mom & Dad's bed. I jumped up there once or twice, during a post-bath zoomie, but I got kicked off right away.

Mom has always said that animals are not allowed on the bed. So, I have a bed on the floor of their room, and one in the living room. But, I like to sleep in the hallway, or the bathtub, or on the couch.

......yet, for some reason, the new cats are allowed on the bed. What gives??? All of a sudden it's ok for THEM to sleep on the bed? I don't get it. shrug

Hmmm....what the heck is right? At first I thought, "well, you're walking around in the areas where you poop, but the cats do too." I'm surprised I still get to sleep on the bed since I used to claim it as mine with a little sprinkle now and then. A long time ago...

I mostly prefer the bed but the bathtub or right next to the big white drinking fountain, you know the thing with the really fresh and cold water, it feels good late at night.

Jinx is kind if bossy, so sometimes I have to move, but I make a big show about it, but usually he leaves behind a bone for me to chew on, so moving off the bed's not too bad. Besides, who wants the human taking up that much space.

Patrick,
can you tell me where you bought your bearded collie? I am in Houston and am looking for a puppy. Also do the collie's carry an odor since they have the long hair? Thanks for your info. I very much appreciate it.

Regards,

Glenn

Write the Bearded Collie Club of America, They can help you. (http://beardie.net/bcca/)

Beardies aren't for everyone. They have to be handed gently and prefer to be an inside dog and with you all the time. They do smell if you don't keep up with the grooming. Grooming is the #1 thing you have to keep up with this breed or they'll matte up like crazy. They're an active dog and will get into trouble if you don't keep them entertained.
