	I'll be stuck at a kennel. My mom's relatives aren't dog people. This is the first year we're trying this arrangement. I'll be fine, but my brother Patrick will not like it one bit. He's used to sleeping on the bed and being with people. I'm happy wherever I am. That's the way I am.

	Mom & Dad are staying local for Christmas. And, from what I hear, me and the kitties will be hanging out keeping an eye on the house while Mom & Dad go make the rounds to all the relatives places on Christmas day.

	Usually I'm laying in the kitchen while My Person cooks. I'd have found everything in my stocking and be tuckered out from playing... ...but, this year, My Person has the chance to fly home for Christmas, so I'll be in a kennel, too. Boo.

	Guess what?!?! Mom read Storm's posting about staying in a kennel and she called Storm's person (Sarah). Storm is now planning to stay with us!!! He gets dropped off this evening and is staying until later next week. Woo-Hoo! I'll have someone to play with! Yea Storm, he doesn't have to stay in a kennel. And, he gets to meet my new Kitties. ...Hmmm, I hope he knows that I am the only dog that is allowed to chase them... [Mom talking]: Excuse me Baelin, but you're NOT allowed to chase them. Why do you think that you get "time outs" all the time?

	Baelin, I'm so excited to be staying with you! Hanging with a fellow Beardie (and especially one of my good buddies) is always awesome. ...and, dude, I might give you a run for your money with those cats. I'm just as fervent about those wee beasties as you are about skateboards... Just don't tell My Person. She doesn't look fondly on my attempts to herd the feral cats in my apartment complex.
