when does the average BASSETT HOUND start to mature?wave

Of course every basset is an individual, but I would say they start to mature at about a year and a half to two years. Droopy was a wild puppy and I didn't trust him out of his crate until he was almost three years old. I know it can make you crazy, but enjoy all of the puppy exuberance now. You will miss it when they get older.

My 9 month Ella just peed in the house today! She is normally really good though but hey bassets are suppose to be stubborn right? laugh out loud
