Remington does Agility, and competes. Vista is in the beginning process of learning Agility. We play ball, play frisbee, swim, hike, dog parks, dog meet-up groups, etc. They get at least 2 hours of physical exercise a day. They love it.

we live out in the country, so Maggie and Dakota, when he was alive, got plenty of run time on the farm. dakota helped me alot moving livestock til he got to old.

Tennis balls are also a favorite in our house. Maggie had basic drug dog training and is OBSESSIVE with her tennis balls..smile

Here's stuff I do with Maxie... walks, long or short, fetching the ball, obedience, agility class for fun, puppy playgroup, lots of toys (esp. busy budy funnybone), ice cubes.

Max hates the car -- can't get over wanting to herd

I don't have my ACD pup yet, but I've owned ACDs in the past. I like to do agility and biking.

I live on a ranch, Dakota was a working dog. He helped me plenty of times move livestock..but he was also my bestest bud and riding buddy.

Maggie, our only heeler left now, was actually in training to be a drug dog! She is very smart.

PULHEES throw- the ball or let- a cow out!

nothing too out of the ordinary here, our back yard is a very steep hill and holly loves to have us toss the tennis ball up there for fetch. She gets bored with the game at the park pretty quickly, but there is the element of hide and seek with the ball in the bushes so it keeps her going for hours of fun, the chuck it toy is a mandatory requirement for this. We get the off leash park in at least once a week, the favorite one is the one with a creek for wading and playing. Like all herders she is tireless so the human couch potatoes play a lot of inside fetch. She is so nuts for the tennis ball she plays fetch in the Tahoe on long trips to keep her from eating the seats.
We try to find new tricks all the time to teach her and practice thej ones she has down to keep her sharp.
